Every Monday und Thursday new blogs on literary trends across Europe.
The ELit Literaturehouse Europe establishes an observatory for European contemporary literature focusing chiefly on: research, discussion and publishing results concerning literary trends across Europe, as well as the inter-cultural communication of literature within Europe and the dissemination of literature among the diverse cultural spaces within Europe. Every year, the Observatory monitors literature in different European countries or linguistic areas.Comics and graphic novels are also surveyed. Reviewers assigned each year report their quarterly results on www.literaturehouseeurope.eu – they reflect current trends in the respective countries and linguistic areas, and at the European Literature Days in Spitz an der Donau they discuss areas of cross-border cooperation and areas of differentiation to and within other European countries. At the round table meeting at the European Literature Days in Spitz an der Donau as well as in workshop sessions, writers from the corresponding countries and linguistic areas review this status report on European literature.
